Lady GaGa The Queen Of Narcissism Is Reprimanded By French Police

During her stop in Paris to promote her new album, Lady GaGa got into a lot of trouble with French police.  While staying at the Park Hyatt Hotel, GaGa worked up her little monsters by hanging out of her hotel room window and throwing hundreds rose petals to her fans below.

Crowds gathered at the hotel hoping to get a glimpse of the clown they call Mommy Monster.  GaGa was yelling down to her pathetic followers "I love you my little monsters!!!".  The crowd below got so frenzied that hotel management was forced to call the police.

Prior to calling the police, hotel management went to her room and asked her repeatedly to please come in.  GaGa, caught in the throes of attention being lavished on her by her zombies, did not listen.  She kept lapping it up like an attention starved puppy.  Sources say that she was like a woman possessed.

After having about all they can take, police were called.  Police gave her a swift telling off and slapped her with a fine.

This woman is the perfect case of narcissistic personality disorder and an attention glutton.  She is like a bottomless pit.  It's never enough for her.  Maybe she is sincere that she wants to be on the same level as her fans and appreciate them.  Maybe that's a small part of it.  Let's remember though that she is still fairly new to this fame game.  Is very intoxicating at this point.  This is her cocaine.  GaGa is walking a fine line and the line is very blurry.  One day, this monster she is creating of allowing her fans such easy access to her is going to come back and kick her in the ass.  There's a lot of psychos out there and no doubt there are a few that already have their eye on GaGa.  One day, her privacy, sanity and safety will be her top concern but by then it will be too late.  She's already set a precedent with her fans.

Edge of Glory Video Debuts During FOX TV Show

Last night Lady GaGa debuted her "Edge of Glory" video during Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance". After being used to GaGa's big performances and over the top music videos, Little Monsters all over the world were disappointed.

Edge of Glory seemed too lackluster, too normal. The video is GaGa dancing on a fire escape with a NYC city street scene which looks more like a Universal Studios back lot set. GaGa showcases her talent of stripper dancing that she learned while working as a stripper. All that was missing was the stripper pole.  Clarence Clemons appears in the video along side GaGa where he lends his remarkable saxophone skills to the song.

The monsters took to Twitter to lash out against Joseph Kahn, the man they thought was the director behind the music video. Joseph replied with "I did NOT direct Lady Gaga's 'Edge of Glory' video. Lady Gaga did -- I don't co-direct," Kahn quickly explained. "One canvas, one paintbrush. Respect the art. Very simple rule with me."  There wasn't much creativity to the video. While it was refreshing to see something not so "out there", it reminded me too much of a Sesame Street street scene for adults.

On the Edge of Glory youtube page, monsters and others are commenting in real time with a flame war of opinions on her video.

The song itself is very 80's.  A reproduced, reworked style similar to something you'd hear by Laura Branigan or Princess Stephanie of Monaco.  It's music I labeled as "cheesy" when I think back on it.

Are the masses ready for this style of music to be regurgitated?  I'm not too sure.  If you had to judge based on the music charts, all the songs off Born This Way are falling faster than anything off The Fame did.  The songs don't seem to have much staying power.

What do you think of the Edge of Glory video?

Lady Xerox Copy Cat Picture of the Day

Irish singer Roisin Murphy and GaGa ripping off her style. Roisin circa 2004-2007

Roisin was the front woman for the band Moloko and you may remember their hit "Sing It Back". Roisin's been going solo for a little while now and she is very talented although not super mainstream the way GaGa is.  GaGa shows no shame lifting from Miss Murphy and don't think Roisin hasn't noticed.  She tweets:

"Lady Gaga is just a poor imitation of me.She has copied my style…my shoulder pads…Mind you she doesn't wear the bottom half!"—RĂ³isin Murphy

Adele Reclaims Her Throne At The Top Of The Billboard 200

Just like the truth will always prevail, it looks like true talent has prevailed.  At least in this case it has.  Adele was temporarily knocked out of the number one spot on the Billboard 200 by Lady GaGa's "Born This Way" three weeks ago.  No doubt goosed by GaGa and Amazon's 0.99 cent deal on two separate days.  Today, she takes her spot, her rightfully earned spot, back.   "Born This Way" falls to No. 2 (100,000; down 42%),

This is Adele's tenth non-consecutive week at the number one spot.  While Adele climbs back up, GaGa will descend down the chart.  Just like her singles released after "Born This Way" have.

Justin Timberlake on Lady GaGa

Justin Timberlake touches on Lady GaGa during his interview with Playboy Magazine.

Timberlake says he admires Lady Gaga -- who joined him on the season finale of "Saturday Night Live" last month but says that he hopes she changes up her sound a bit on her next full-length.

"I'd love to see her come out with another record a couple of years from now that's completely different, maybe something Tori Amos could do," says Timberlake. "If I were Lady Gaga, I'd do whatever I wanted, which it looks like she's doing. She's just plain old good. But I don't know what the future holds for her. Her sound is so big. She's got the outfits and she shocks you, but you kind of wonder how an act that big stays around forever. That's why I'm curious to see her mix it up a little. I think she'll continue to make interesting music."

I don't know about you but to me that sounds like a very tactful and diplomatic way of saying he thinks her music off Born This Way is mediocre, which it is, and that her whole gimmick is out of control.  That too much exposure is a career killer.  It truly is.  It works the same way in the dating world.  The more mysterious you seem, the more it intrigues others.  The minute you start showing up everywhere, being so available, trying too hard, people lose interest.  It's no different in show business except that it's on a grander scale.

GaGa's over exposure is going to be her downfall.  She's leaving nothing to the imagination and she won't shut up.  She's coming across as arrogant and very full of herself.  She's a perfect walking case study of narcissism.  GaGa needs to cool it.

I really liked her at first.  I thought each song I heard off The Fame had something special about it and that there was something special about her.  She ruined that mystique she had.  That charm.  Aside from her die hard little monsters, a lot of people are just plain sick of her.

Did you mother ever tell you, GaGa, that less is more?  Mine did.  I didn't know it then but she was right.
