Gaga Keeps Reporters Waiting

Annoyed reporters stood by at the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore for nearly two hours waiting for Lady Gaga to show up at her scheduled press conference.

When she finally decided to show up, late, Gaga allowed only three questions - all of which had to do with Born This Way - and ended the conference in less than ten minutes after having the audacity to keep reporters waiting for as long as she did.

Gaga is in Singapore to do a private show to support SingTel's 2nd Anniversary of it's AMPed music-download service.

As she leaned back on her leather sofa, having her Cleopatra moment of grandeur, Gaga talks about Born This Way and calls it her baby.  She continues to talk about her Edge Of Glory video and childhood moments.

The question reporters were waiting to ask was what would Lady Gaga have to say about the Fun Pack Song, the song penned for the National Day Parade that used the music to her big hit Bad Romance?

Before a reporter could even finish his question, he or she was rudely interrupted by one of Gaga's goons stating that Gaga would only take questions relating to her Born This Way album.

That did not go over well with the reporters, who have been waiting for her for ages.  Gaga did not respect their time nor their job.

Although Gaga is on a world tour to promote her latest album, she is in Singapore for the AMPed music download service.  Not once during her press conference did she mutter a single word about the service - a polar scenario of how she was in 2009 when the service first launched.

youtube Shuts Down Lady Gaga's Account Due To Copyright Infringement

Lady Xerox's official youtube account has been shut down by the website due to multiple, yes multiple, notifications (translate: complaints) of copyright infringement.

The only question I have is what the hell took so long?"  Did Madonna finally speak up and say enough is enough?  Or Jana Sterbak perhaps?  Maybe it was Porcelain Black, another artist Gaga may have deemed obscure for anyone to notice.

Or maybe it was Roisin Murphy.   Or Kylie Minogue?  Or Gwen Stefani?  Or Paulina Rubio (police line tape outfit).  Or Shakira?

I can only hope that whom ever complained to youtube isn't going to stop with youtube.  Gaga has been going too far and for too long with paying *cough* "homage" to certain artists.  It's time this nonsense stops and Gaga is held accountable.  There is nothing original about her.  She is one, big huge "Copy and Paste".

Who knows how long her youtube channel will be shutdown or if it will remain that way.  In the meantime, you can check it out right here!

Gaga Panda

Finally! I thought I was the only to notice this.  Time of India has too.  When Gaga was in Japan, as a sign of her love (or ignorance) for Japan, she paid tribute by painting her eyes to look like a panda bear.

She says "I really like pandas. Pandas have paws, and I always tell my fans to put their paws up. I've been eating a lot of bamboo this week," the Daily Mail quoted her as telling the show.

The problem is that Gaga may have confused her love for Japan with neighboring China.  You see, the panda bear is a loved symbol of Chinese culture, not Japanese.  Gaga appeared on a Japanese television show dressed as a panda.

She later added during the how that her dream is 'one day having panda babies'. Whatever that's supposed to mean.

Then again, most of the stuff that comes out of Gaga's mouth is nonsensical gibberish peppered with big words to make her sound smart and educated. But I guess the "haters" just don't get her or her message.

A Brilliant Article on Mother Monster

I stumbled on this brilliant article on Lady Gaga on fierceandnerdy.com.  The author, Joshua Mauldin, puts it so eloquently on why he's a Gaga "hater".   Just because one doesn't like Gaga doesn't mean we are haters.  We just see through the facade.
