"Perez Hilton and Lady Gaga infamously fell out in August after the Artpop singer accused the Internet blogger of stalking her.
"Perez Hilton stay away from me (and) my family. You are sick trying
to rent an apartment in my building to stalk me. Leave me alone! I have
confirmation from the building he was there," the 28-year-old tweeted at
the time.
Having refuted the claims Perez openly spoke about the pair's broken friendship on the Howard Stern Show today.
"She's clearly talented, clearly ambitious, clearly fame hungry and clearly smart, but I feel used. I feel like the whole time she was pretending to be my friend and befriending me so I would write positive things about her."
Perez then admitted he felt "really sad and hurt" and described how he called Gaga to smooth things over.
"I was on the phone crying with her – she thought I'd set her up. I said 'why would you even think that? I'm your friend, I would never f****** set you up. I'm only here to put you in a positive light – you're my friend'.
"I'm cuban, I'm loyal. I don't have many friends – I thought she was a friend and a real one."
The 36-year-old then said after Gaga parted ways with her manager, she become the "meanest person".
"She had this album called The Fame Monster and she kind of became a victim of that herself and became consumed by it and became a monster," he said.
Asked if he wanted to be friends again, he admitted: "I have zero desire to patch it up and I don't think she does either.
"I would maybe one day like to sit in a room and have her look into my eyes and for me to reiterate 'I never was out to get you, I really viewed you as my friend'.
"I was her friend before she was famous and I would've been her friend even if she didn't become famous."
