Snow storm in Toronto puts damper on Gaga concert; Lady Starlight and ARTPOP.

I was just tweeted a picture showing Gaga's concert at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and it shows just how badly the snow storm has affected attendance.  The north east blizzard has dumped tons of snow on south western Ontario in addition to the north eastern parts of the U.S.A.

The picture is not a reflection of ticket sales.  Although, while media news outlets are reporting a sold out show, Ticketmaster Canada is telling a different story.

In other outrageous news, Lady Starlight gave an interview to The Globe and Mail and what she had to say is just so delusional.

Justin Bieber released six albums before his 19th birthday, and Rihanna has released seven since 2005. They don’t have time to reinvent, right?

Not to speak disparagingly of Justin Bieber or Rihanna, but they’re not so hands-on with their image or their sound. They don’t write the music. They have people doing things for them. Whereas Gaga is more like a Bowie. Gaga is a real musician, and a real artist. Her thing is the creative process – she’s involved in everything. She’s pop, but, in a way, she’s more like a rock-and-roll act.

What???  No, she's not Bowie.  Not even close.  Starlight, you did just put down Bieber and Rihanna.  Time for you to go sit on the Born Brave Bus!

Now check out this part.

Okay, mission accomplished for Lady Gaga. But what about world domination for Lady Starlight?

Well, now I’m working on mine, and she’s helping me and investing in my show. I spoke to her on the phone earlier today. She was scolding me for not thinking big enough.

The roles are reversed now.

In professional ways, yes. She knows. She’s been there. I’m trying to break into the industry now, as a solo artist. She’s been instrumental.

On Friday, after you perform at the Gaga concert at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, you’re heading to the Drake Hotel for your own show. How does it feel to go from such a big room to such a small one?

It’s hard to fill a large venue with what you’re doing. When you’re in a smaller venue, though, you’ll fill it all, with you. It’s more fun, being closer to the audience. To be honest, I prefer the small stage.

Gaga is investing in Starlight's show?  I'll say that again.  Gaga is investing in Starlight's show.  Would you invest your money or pay $5.00 to go and see this?

I'm sure she could barely fill a smaller venue with what she's doing either.  She wants a solo career?  In what?  I don't even know what this is supposed to be!  Do you?  Lady Starlight has now become Lady Delusional.

Speaking of delusional, Stefani spoke some more about ARTPOP and turns out she considers it her "first real album that it’s about a phoenix rising from the ashes, and is worried if she’ll ever be able to top it because she knows it’s that good.”

Wow...the arrogance is off the richter scale.  Didn't she learn anything about the dangers of over-hyping from the Born This Way fiasco?  So as Paws Down points out, the saying about a phoenix rising is about something rising from the dead.  Is Gaga admitting that her career has been dead-ish as of late?  Isn't it embarrassing that she is considering ARTPOP her comeback album after just 4-5 years in the music business?
