Lady Gaga: the worst cliché and best hypocrite in the music industry.

A cliché or cliche (UK /ˈklʃ/ or US /klɪˈʃ/) is an expression, idea, or element of an artistic work which has been overused to the point of losing its original meaning or effect, especially when at some earlier time it was considered meaningful or novel.

Does that remind you of someone?  If it doesn't, it should.  It's Lady Gaga.    Let's see, what has iMadonna done so far that's so corporately predictable, boring and cliché for celebrity.
  1. Perfume line - can't get any more boring than this.
  2. Singing toothbrushes
  3. Picture book
  4. Polaroid printers
  5. Made in China crap marked up 200% and sold at Barney's at the height of mass consumerism - Christmas
Apparently that's not enough for Lady I Hate Money.  iMadonna is now releasing a line of "healthy" bottled water to promote weight loss.  Yes, I rolled my eyes too.  First of all, if anyone believes that her water is going to be any more healthy than the rest of the bottled water on the shelf, then you are evian.  Sorry....I meant NAIVE, which is Evian spelled backwards.

Moving on.

Fatty Boom Boom gained about 25-30 lbs and remarkably lost most of it rather quickly.  Here's the marketing ploy from the money hater:

  1. she has the water bottle line in the works for months.
  2. she gains a bunch of weight and loses it quickly
  3. says she lost it because of an amazingly healthy water that she is now bottling to promote weight loss and well being.
  4. brain dead consumers and Gaga fans buy her stupid water and guess who gets richer and still buying 8 balls to keep her weight down?

Bull. Fucking. Shit.

First of all, NO ONE loses that much weight that fast by simply adding a "healthy" brand of water to their diet unless that is all they are drinking; which is not healthy because you are depriving your body of other nutrients.

Secondly, drug addicts who are high on cocaine, which suppresses appetite, can lose that much weight in a very short amount of time.  Fatty Boom Boom did not lose her weight in any healthy manner whatsoever and if you think she did, you're stupid.

Thirdly, and this is a huge one, for me anyway.  While my first point was based on how Lady Gaga manipulates, my third point is the epitome of hypocrisy.   Not too long ago, Lady Gaga joined Yoko Yono's Artists Against Fracking, an environmental movement to end the practise of fracking.

Lady Gaga probably doesn't really know what fracking is and decided to join the new cause celeb du jour to stay in the media.  Lady Gaga does not give a shit about the environment.  She wears fur so she doesn't care about animals, we know this.

Water bottles?  They have got to be one of the worst things for the environment ever created.  Petroleum based products do not bio-degrade the way organic material does.  Plastic water bottles are terrible for the environment.  Of course, it's unknown what material Fatty Boom Boom will use for her corporate product.  Maybe she'll use glass bottles or polylactic acid which is plastic made of corn.

Even if she does use an organic material, what's the point of this product?  Does anyone really believe that she lost weight from drinking this magic water?  Don't be stupid.  It's time to see this manufactured, corporate drone for what she really is.

Oh and listen to how nauseating her diction has become.

Then go read Paws Down's post further proving how full of crap Lady Gaga really is.

From Paws Down Little Monsters

Doesn't this sound like the most contrived, insincere hogwash you've ever heard?  Doesn't it make you want to punch her in the face?  How can anyone believe she's real?  There is no greater phony than Lady Gaga.  After watching this, I'm convinced more than ever that Taylor Kinney is only with her because of the $90 million.  How else could anyone stomach having to listen to this on a daily basis?  Imagine hearing this voice talking to you, in bed no less and having to resist the urge to knock her teeth out. Ugh.

Thanks Pike for the tip.

Check out this write up about the water at Celebitchy as well. It's really good and touches on the same points.

Side-note, I'm not a Die Antwoord fan but whether you like them or not; whether you think they are talented or not; this here is the reason why they chose to slag her.  It's everything Fatty Boom Boom represents and that my friends is the very reason they do not want anything to do with her.  It has nothing to do with how relevant or irrelevant they are. Just as I chose to start this blog about someone who also did nothing to me personally, Die Antwoord is likely appalled at the fakery of Lady Gaga and that's how they chose to express it.  I say, eat away lion, eat away.

Oh and can we ease up on the boy model pictures in the comments.  I don't see how they are relevant to any of my posts.
