Lady Gaga Settles Lawsuit

After months of silence, Lady Gaga agrees to settle the $5 million lawsuit against her.  Exactly one year ago, Stefani was sued for misleading people through her Pray for Japan charity.  To recap, a charity is a not for profit and Stefani was charging sales tax and shipping to everyone who purchased her charity bracelets which does not fall into accord with the concept of "not for profit".  There were also several complaints that people who bought the bracelet allegedly didn't receive it.

Alyson Oliver, an attorney from the Detroit, Michigan law firm behind the lawsuit claims that not all the money went to the intended Japanese victims.  Very sketchy.  Stefani agreed to settle by donating $107,500 to victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

We have yet to hear the outcome on another pending lawsuit.  Last August, Stefani was sued by Rebecca Francescatti for plagiarising her song "Juda".
