Gaga is in London, rehearsing for the iTunes Music Festival where she'll play her super rushed single release, Swine. After the disappointment Applause turned out to be, Stefani is eager to torment your eardrums with her next song; just a mere few weeks after her foiled plan to upstage Katy Perry's Roar miserably failed.
On her official YouTube channel, Stefani posted a preview video of her rehearsing Swine.
What I find most hysterical about this video is that Stefani now wants you to think she's can play the drums just by banging one stick on the cymbal as she bounces up and down on the stool like a coked up three year old having a tantrum. Her facial expression is going to give me nightmares for the next 6 months. Kind of reminds me of the time Gaga thought she could play guitar during her Electric Chapel number.
Now Lady Air Guitar is now Lady Air Drums. Stefani is doing her best Lana Del Rey / Courtney Love impression at the video opening. At this point, it's obvious that Gaga is going back to Stefani Germanotta, the person she tried to bury along with the memories of Lina Morgana. All that's left for her to do is drop the Gaga name for good. I'm starting to think that ARTPOP will be released as Stefani Germanotta and not Lady Gaga. Stefani also wants to be a rock chick. Badly. A rock chick with EDM (I use that term loosely) music that collaborates with DJ's. What's that popular Internet term? Oh yes, #FAIL.
