Born This Way Foundation Launch

Gaga's live stream from the Born This Way Foundation Launch doesn't work and look what little monsters are saying the in the chat window.  Nice to know that Stefani's message is being heard loud and clear.

Thanks Pike for the screen shot!

Why Doesn't Lady Gaga Put Her Foot Down to Her Own Bullying Fan Base?

An interesting point was made by some of you and I'd like to debate this very strange behaviour of Stefani's.  Stefani is on a crusade to end bullying......somehow.  Especially bullying of LGBT teens.  It's all very commendable and perhaps her heart is in the right place but is she aware how nasty her own fans are, her Little Monsters?

If someone speaks negatively about Mother Monster in forums or on Twitter for example, their claws come out and it's downright mean, often scary.  People have been told to die, kill themselves, they're going to be killed.  Those are the more extreme attacks and I'm sure are just words opposed to an actual premeditated plan being put to work.  Other attacks are sillier such as calling people whores, bitches and the like.

When it comes to other pop stars, it's no hold bars.  A good example are the attacks against Adele regarding her weight, Madonna on her age, Katy Perry on her talent and most recently Kelly Osbourne on her logical opinion that Stefani should have walked the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards.   Kelly received death threats and was also told she should be raped.

Why hasn't Stefani spoken up about this?  She's the self appointed champion for the under dogs.  She's so against bullying that she's started her own foundation to combat the problem.  So why hasn't she called out her own fan base?  How can she put an end to bullying when she can't even control her own fans, the very people that worship her?  Her fans vehemently defend her.  Could it be that it's not bullying to her when it comes to defending her honor?  The Born This Way Foundation is set to officially launch on February 29th.

There's no doubt in my mind that she's heard about all of this including the now defunct Help Mother Monster blog.  If it was so easy for her to hear about NME's nominating Born This Way the most pretentious album, surely she knows about this too, right?

Stefani was quick to tweet about something negative about her but why not about others, at the hands of her Little Monsters?  The tumblr blog A Tribute:  Hateful Little Monsters outlines the type of things that they say and do.

Here's a GIF created by a Little Monster.

So what's the deal?

Lady Gaga Smells Like A Hooker?

Here's Stefani talking about her perfume and it's true, it has the essence of blood and semen! This is a clip of Stefani speaking via telephone on Australian radio to The Kyle and Jackie Show explaining her perfume. When Stefani tells Jackie that her perfume will "smell like an expensive hooker", Jackie laughs awkwardly and says "Okay" as in oookkkkaaaayyyy weirdo.

The perfume is made out of the molecular structures of blood and semen.  The semen is supposed to leave you with that 'after sex' feeling and the blood part is directly taken from her own blood samples so that when you wear her crappy perfume, you have a "sense of wearing her on your skin".  Wow, the narcissism is mind boggling.  Does anyone have a tranquilizer gun for this broad?  No?  How about a taser?  Stefani obviously thinks she's this cultural phenomenon like Ghandi or Jesus that she deserves to be worn on your skin and mix DNA together.

Usually after sex, people reach for a towel to wipe the semen off of them and Gaga wants you to wear it as a perfume.   I wonder if it's her semen?

How can it be that this woman is sane enough to run a foundation geared to help encourage self esteem and self worth?  There should be a law forbidding mental cases from starting up self help charities.

Think about it.   Do you think Rihanna should start up a self esteem foundation when she wears the word 'cunt' on a chain around her neck and is allegedly getting back together with Chris Brown, a guy who beat the crap out of her a few years ago?  I would say no.

So how is Gaga any different?   Look at her track record.  See THIS post as a reminder.

No word yet as far as I know on what the perfume will be called.  My guess is 'Gold Dust Whore' or 'S.L.U.T.' or 'Born This Whore' or maybe just 'Hooker'.

Thank you Rimzy for the link.

Lady Gaga Can't Deal with the Truth

February 24th UPDATE - more added to this post.  Scroll down to the end.

NME posted it's 10 Most Pretentious Albums Ever list, written by Priya Elan.  Guess who's picture starts the article?  Yup.  Guess who made it to No.1?  Lady Gaga's Born This Way.

Stefani got wind of the article and it bothered her so much that she tweeted about it.

What does she find ironic about the article?  Is she going all Alanis Morrisette and doesn't know what irony means?  What's actually ironic about her tweet is that a narcissist is disagreeing that she's a narcissist and rolling her eyes at an article that doesn't think she all that great.  This coming from a woman who claimed this was going to be The Album of the Decade before she even finished it!!  Did I mention that she claims to have created a whole new genre of music?  Yup, not narcissistic at all.

Her tweet stinks of insecurity and she's obviously really bothered by the latest No.1 spot shes landed on in a really long time.  Thinnest skin in the business.

Actually, NME is right.  Not only is Born This Way pretentious, it's a piece of shit.  The music is garbage.  The self proclaimed 'gay anthem', the ONLY hit from this craptastic album contains one line that shits all over gay men and glorifies the stereotype they've tried to move away from.  Thanks Gaga, for setting the whole movement back several hundred thousand steps.  What the gays don't need is a straight, rich little princess from the Upper West Side who knows nothing about what they go through to give them a pat on the back and nominate herself the Queen of the Gays, waving her sword to fight the gay battle.  Fuck you.

Don't be a drag, just be a queen.

Need I say more?

If anyone thinks that is deep, artistic and meaningful, you need to lay off the crack and read some really good literature.  Gaga ain't no artist.  Back in Mozart's days, she would be the fly he swatted when it landed on his piano.

Now, check out what she tweeted right before the NME tweet.

This tweet reeks of narcissism and is breathtakingly pretentious.   Hair is her song.  Who the hell plays their own music, singing into a hairbrush and claims to forget they're a pop singer, for 5 minutes!!!???  So the rest of the time she thinks about how famous she is?  Wow, just wow.

Lady Gaga:   What should I listen to today? Born This Way, then Born This Way, then...hmmmmm, I know!!! Born This Way!!!

Most actors can't even watch their own movies because it makes them feel awkward but this ego maniac listens to herself in her down time and probably has only her music on her iPod!!  HOLY SHIZ!!  That's about the only thing she got right.  She gets to tour that shiz because it really is shiz.

Aquaseity pointed out in one of his comments below that NME conducted the interview when Born This Way (the single) was first released and asked Gaga about the Express Yourself comparisons.  Remember that one?  Of course you!  It's the interview where she lost it and went nuts claiming that the song was sent to her by God, opposed to what?  Ripping off Madonna is what.

It's no wonder she has a huge chip on her shoulder when it comes to NME Magazine.  It's because the truth hurts and they managed to hurt her twice, maybe more.

NME responded to Gaga's Twitter tirade. Check it out here.

The check this out at Alex Knepper's site about the original NME interview.

The Lady Gaga is Reductive Facebook Page also made an excellent point. One reason why they do not like her as a person is because she says zero, zilch, nada to her fans who bully constantly, most recent victim being Kelly Osbourne BUT she immediately snaps back when there's negative press ABOUT HER that her fragile little ego can't take.   That my friends, is an ego centric, insecure narcissist and hypocrite.  Born This Way Foundation my ass.

Vote for You Know Who....

VH1 is airing The 8 Greatest Women in Pop.   Let's do our part to knock Gaga out.

Lady Gaga Calls Herself a Slut and Is Proud

Lady Gaga lent her voice in the Season Finale of The Simpsons where she will be playing herself. Isn't that an ironic statement, 'playing herself'. Buah!

The episode is titled "Lisa Goes Gaga" where Stefani visits Springfield to cheer Lisa up. She probably gets her drunk and passes her a little something special stuck under her pinky nail.

When asked about the role she is playing on The Simpsons, Stefani proudly responded "I play a little bit of a slut. The apple doesn't fall far from my artistic tree."

Firstly, why would someone proudly declare that they're a slut?  Secondly, she's not artistic.  She's a stupid pop star.  There's nothing artistic about that and there's nothing she can say or do to convince any intelligent person that what she does is art.  It's corporate, manufactured pop.  Period.

So lets organize a few things and list them.  We've got:

1.) slut
2.) coke head
3.) ex stripper, excuse me......"go-go dancer"
4.) alleged plagiarizer
5.) chain smoker
6.) chain drinker (see Lady Gaga's Twitter feed)
7.) harassed by Satan (her claim, not mine)
8.) alleged man stealer
9.) insecure narcissist / histrionic
10.) pathological liar
11.) alleged thief (Japan charity bracelet scandal)

Such redeeming qualities!  Do we really want this woman telling people that they can be all that they want to be?

Stefani even predicts her own death.....by alcohol.  Skip to 6:20.

Let me get this straight.  Go on a bully witch hunt because bullies are bad and damage a kid's self esteem and confidence. Possibly drive them to suicide BUT proudly proclaim that you're a slut because that's "who she really is, being all that she really wants to be".   Isn't that indirectly sending a message that being a slut is cool?  Sleeping around with man after man after man can be really damaging to a young girl.  It's a self esteem killer.   Most young girls do it because they want a boyfriend or to be loved or to be accepted.  When you do things to damage "you", you're bullying yourself!  So now this whack job is starting a "Born This Way" Foundation.  Oy vey.

CaCa is like a missile without a guiding system.  She shouldn't be allowed to speak.  Ever.

Copying or Inspiration?

Here's a still shot of Lady Gaga from her Paparazzi music video.

Look familiar?  Check this out.

That very same outfit was used in George Michael's 'Too Funky" video.  I believe it was worn by model Karen Mugler.

That's not it from the video though.  How about this pic?

Now look at this.

That's a screenshot from the same video of model Linda Evangelista.

Here's the video.

Should I....

Allow anonymous commenter's again?  I mean, why should I change it?  It was fun and lively with the debates and flame wars.  That was part of this blog.  I would laugh most of the time and found it entertaining.  Why not just moderate the comments?  Meaning they will post automatically without me having to approve them first but any hateful, racist, etc type comments will be removed.

Wasn't it more fun before?  Thoughts?

Hi guys

If you want to comment on this blog, you have to be registered.  Go to Open ID to set it up and start commenting again!  I appreciate you all visiting here and commenting.  If you have a Google, Live Journal, Wordpress, AIM or Type Pad account, you should be able to comment without Open ID.

I know this sucks because I didn't mind the 'anon' postings but I hope you don't feel deterred by setting up an Open ID.  It's not really that "open".  If you pick a name like "Lucky_65" for example, we still don't know who you are.  You're still "anonymous".

Let's Get One Thing Straight.........

Super Amanda.  I am NOT, I repeat NOT your alleged stalker.  I am NOT Royal Lioness" aka Lady Gaga Project/Randy Aaron/Pete Buchanan etc and I'm no where near Alaska and I'm definitely not a geologist although that sounds like a really interesting career.

Blogger has back links I'm sure you know and now I can read how YOU libeled me by ACCUSING me of being you stalker and accusing me of being the same person behind the Help Mother Monster blog.  All of your accusations are unequivocally false with no merit or proof whatsoever.

Wanna read folks?

I never even heard of you until your dragged your bullshit over to this blog.   I've let you comment here the same way I let everyone else, with no censorship.  How dare you go around saying I'm this stalker and person who has been impersonating you online.  I have done nothing to you and yet you have your attorney investigating me.  Time to find a new attorney because he or she is barking up the wrong tree.

I wonder if accusing someone of being a stalker is slander?

For the record, I personally don't think Royal Lioness is who you say she is either. She's been posting here for a while and only stopped because of you.  Never once did she say or do anything that would lead ANY OF US who've come to know her to believe what you say she is.

You also accuse the person running the Paws Down Mother Monster Tumblr site of being your stalker.  So I guess I also run that site right?  Whoops!  More libel!  More slander!

By the way, I have screen caps too.

Can We Declare Gaga Legally Insane Now?

Bitch don't need Deepak. I'm going to analyze her dream right now.  The blonde lass with ropes tied to her limbs being ripped apart....that's Stefani's career.  When she enters the room, she's "Stefani Germanotta", as a brunette.  The blond girl represents "Lady Gaga", her alter ego.  She's terrified of her career being ripped apart with no possibility of it being put back together again.  The dream reoccurs just like her copycat antics because it's happening, right now.  The phantom is Lina Morgana.

Levitate!  Her ego is bigger than the Death Star.  She took a few yoga classes, had a convo with Deepak and now she thinks she a Yogi Master with the ability to levitate.  If she levitates, I hope he pumps helium into her body through her anus as added insurance so that she levitates into deep space.   The only thing Gaga took to the next level is the crazy.

Lady Gaga - More Hypocrisy Revealed

Videos like this have made their way around the Internet and some of you saw it and some maybe not.  Here's Stefani ranting on about how she never lip syncs followed by a clip where she lands flat on her ass during a Poker Face number.  Clearly, she lied.  Shocking.

The video ends with "Rihanna, A True Goddess".  Their opinion, not mine. Definitely not mine.

The Case Against Lady Gaga: The Essay

By:  Alex Knepper

Lady Gaga has been described as “a voice for our generation.” She is a woman on the verge of releasing Born This Way, a potentially world-changing record which one person has called “the greatest album of this decade.” The lead single of the same name has been dubbed the “anthem for our generation.” Her concerts have been deemed “youth churches,” and, as someone once put it: “the bitch can sing.”

Oh, right — just so you know: all of those quotes are Lady Gaga talking about herself.

The Truth About Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga’s favorite subject is Lady Gaga. She envisions herself as an enigmatic riddle wrapped inside a mysterious paradox. For my inability to understand this infinitely complex figure, I’m constantly being bashed over the head by her Monster Cult: I simply “don’t ‘get’ her,” they say. Browse YouTube comments or Twitter flame wars: her detractors are told that they fail to understand Gaga’s deeper points about celebrity, fame, and art. If we understood what she was aiming at, we’re told, we’d stop aiming our bayonets at her and proclaim ourselves Little Monsters, too.
In this essay — which will be ever-growing — I intend to chronicle, in fairly comprehensive fashion, why I totally do “get” Lady Gaga — and why to understand her is not to embrace her.
2010 was a watershed year for her — but for all the wrong reasons. Having achieved fame, she has shed the arty, self-knowing persona of her early period and has come to embody all of the pop life’s worst attributes: egomania, pretension, and self-importance, topped off with a big, steaming pile of histrionics.

Let’s begin by examining what exactly a ‘Little Monster’ is.

Read the rest HERE.

This is a fascinating read.  I posted this essay on the blog within the first couple of months of it's start and I didn't have many visitors then.  I'm posting it again because Alex Knepper did a fantastic job and it deserves a lot of attention.

So share this, tweet this, email this.  Enjoy this!

Kelly Osbourne Blasts Lady GaGa Fans For Vile Twitter Abuse

Nice to see that Stefani's anti-bullying message is really hitting home amongst her fans and making a tsunami of changes to the world!  How refreshing!  How inspiring!  How brave!  How unrealistic!

Makes you wonder how well the Born This Way Foundation will do.  More like the Tax Break Foundation. Does anyone know if she even has a plan with her foundation?  What exactly is she doing?  Where are the donations going?   The whole thing sounds like a cause to attach her name to without an actual plan to implement her ideas-----if she has any ideas floating around through the air contained her in head.

The foundation officially launches on February 29th where Stefani will be joined by Oprah Winfrey and Deepak Chopra at the launch event.  We'll have to wait until then to find out how Stefani will combat bullying.

Where's Stefani?  Why doesn't she speak up to her fans when they start misbehaving? Stefani didn't utter a single word when the Help Mother Monster blog started and it's starting again, only on Tumblr now.  Here we have a woman who rants and raves about bullying yet says nothing to rein in her own fans.  Maybe when it comes to defending their mother, she fails to see it as bullying.

Fans Paying Through the Nose to See Lady Gaga in Brisbane

Lady I Don't Care About Money is at it again.  If you live in Brisbane and plan to see Lady Gaga, you had better be ready to dip into your college fund.  Premium seats will cost $500 and $180 to stand in her stage presence.  I'm guessing the $180 tickets are for the Monster Pit, where someone will be killed for sure.  Remember, this is in Australian dollars.  I wonder how much for American and Canadian and Euro. For affordable tickets, you can find a seat in the parking lot of the venue where you can hear the concert played through the concrete walls of the stadium.  Or you can just save yourself the money and retain your dignity instead of wasting hard earned money on this hypocrite and liar who is not even worth the $5 in your pocket.  The world is in dire economic straits and here we have Stefani who supposedly despises money,  charging her fans who she affectionately calls her little monsters WHOM she claims to love so much, raping their parents wallets because you know in most cases that's who's buying the tickets.  You can bet she knows that too.

I wonder if Stefani ever goes back and watches past interviews or concert footage to remind herself of the things she said?  Isn't she embarrassed?  If she isn't, she should be.  I know there are a lot of pop stars that charge ridiculous amounts for shows, Madonna being one of them.  The HUGE NEON PINK FLASHING SIGN though is the fact that none of them claimed to not care about money and shamelessly expose their lies with no thought to what they said before.   This isn't about the price of the tickets, this is about Stefani  being a liar and a master manipulator and duping scores of naive kids to line her money hating pockets with the very thing she allegedly hates.  Stefani comes across so nice and sweet and caring but it's a ruse and anyone with half an eye can see through to the real her. The only 'Monster' is her.

Fashion Police on Lady Gaga @ The Grammys 2012

'But since you can see her face through the veil, she doesn't need the stick!'

Dear Sony Music

I just heard on the news that your raising Whitney's music prices when news of her death broke was an accident. No problem, all is forgiven. Although I am not a fan and would never buy her music, I, too, would like to apologize, in advance, that I am going to be downloading all of her music for free off the internet. By accident.

Ugh! Just Ugh!

All rights belong to CBS and the Grammy Awards. This video is purely for entertainment purposes only and no profit has been made in any shape or form as a result of the upload of this video.

Really? Seriously?  I finally got around to watching Nicki Minaj's Grammy performance of Roman Holiday and I have to say is....

Please, someone tell me.  Who is this chick and why was she on that stage? That song, her, the concept, everything, was the stupidest thing I've seen since Gaga's last ridiculous outfit.  Honestly, this is worse than anything Gaga has done performance wise.

If people are accusing Minaj of copying Gaga, copy away I say if that means she'll be gone just as fast as Gaga has.

Good riddance.

Madonna Labelled a Copy Cat

Looks like someone who I think is Super Amanda but am not sure that it is (that should satisfy any 'libel' issues)  posted a comment under the Miranda Lambert Death Stare post as as Anonymous challenging me to post that Madonna may be sued for plagiarism for her new song Give Me All Your Luvin'.

Brazilian musician/producer Joao Brasil claims the chorus in Give Me All your Luvin’ copies his track L.O.V.E. Banana .

I heard the song and the only similarities are a cheerleader chant.  Apparently no one can use cheerleader chants in songs anymore.  I wonder if Gwen Stefani feels ripped off because she uses a cheerleader chant in Holla Back Girl. Or maybe Gwen should be sued because she uses a cheerleader chant and the word Bananas in her song.

Here's what Joao Brasil has to say:

"I still don't understand what happened. I'm a huge fan of hers,” he told the Folha da Sao Paulo newspaper. “If it's plagiarism, then even better. She is always at the cutting edge of music, so it's a good sign about what I do.

“It's in their hands, they're looking at how to proceed and what they can do. But personally I don't want to do anything. The last thing I need in my life is a fight with Madonna."

He believes it is more probable it was Madonna's producers, and not the singer herself, who saw his video, featuring singer Lovefoxxx from Brazilian band CSS, and lifted the song's chorus.

Lawyers for Brasil's German record label Man Recordings, which owns the rights to L.O.V.E Banana, could be filing a lawsuit within days.

You know what I think?  I think Madonna should sue Lady Gaga.

An excerpt of Anon's comment:

Not really.  Steal Gaga's fame?  Are you serious?  Madonna's always been famous, since 1982.  No fame to steal there.  Madonna has not torn down Gaga down.  Gaga did that all by herself and this pot's been boiling for a while.  For a more than a year, Madonna said nothing and she didn't have to say  anything about Gaga being a copycat.  The copycat accusations were being said by the general public. Gaga's been tearing herself down with her over exposure and over all annoyances. If she's losing steam, it's her own fault.

Here are the two songs side by side and don't forget to leave your take on this in the comments section.

Miranda Lambert Death Stare

Why her and not me? Take a picture of me damn it!  I'm Lady Gaga!!
Caption this guys!

Oh wait! Before I forget.....

Lady Gaga the Sore Loser

All rights belong to CBS and the Grammy Awards. This video is purely for entertainment purposes only and no profit has been made in any shape or form as a result of the upload of this video.

This is too funny.   During Adele's standing ovation, the camera pans the audience.  Watch the 13-16 second mark.  LOL!!

Two things happened here.

a.)  She had to be on camera, some way, some how.

b.)  She remained sitting like a sore loser while everyone else stood and when she realized the camera was there, she jumped out of her chair so she could look good.

Either way............F.A.I.L.

It must be killing her.  Not even Kinney's dick would've been able to save her last night.  I've called her the 'music industry troll' once before and I'm calling her that again.  This is so troll like!

Thanks Anon for the link.

This picture is pretty funny as well.  Notice how no one else around Katy Perry noticed that she was being photographed except for Stefani AND she looks into the camera sporting a miserable mug.  I kind of feel sorry for her.  It seems like she's the joke of the Grammy's.

I'm not sure if the "blade" part is real or photo shopped. If someone can confirm, let me know.

And Album of the Year Goes To.........

Congratulations Adele on winning Album of the Year, you earned it.  Enjoy your moment, you deserve it.  This proves that you don't need to be a gimmick, rip people off, over compensate, get naked and shove your tits and ass in the public's face at every available opportunity.

The night belonged to Adele and I couldn't be happier.  Tonight, we can smile knowing that pure, raw, genuine talent still matters in a pop world dominated by cheap, dirty, flashy douche bags.

Adele also walks away with Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, Song of the Year and Record of the Year.

Also, a bittersweet congratulations to Amy Winehouse on winning a Grammy for her duet with Tony Bennett in the Best Pop Duo / Group Performance.  I had hoped that you would be able to pull yourself out of the dark hole you've been living in for so long.  Unfortunately it didn't work out that way and the world will never hear your beautiful voice ever again.  Sleep well Amy, there's nothing torturing you now and keep the universe jazzed.

P.S. Nicki Minaj.....you suck.

P.S.S.  Can you totally tell Stefani is not genuinely happy in the GIF below when her name was not called as a winner.  So phony.  She's just raging inside and is probably crying in her pillow right now.  Or straddling a bath tub naked wearing high heels.

The Grammy Awards 2012

Tonight are the 54th Annual Grammy Awards where artists go head to head competing for the prized Album of the Year award.   The nominees are:

  • 21 by Adele
  • Wasting Light by Foo Fighters
  • Born This Way by Stefani
  • Doo-Wops & Hooligans by Bruno Mars
  • Loud by Rihanna

My bet is going on Adele.  I'm not into sappy love songs but I think she's super talented and she's earned it more than the rest in this category have.  I adore Foo Fighters but I don't see them taking it this year. It would be a pleasant surprise though!  Stefani, well, I bet she's in this category simply for dramatic flair and to add more fire to the stan wars.  Nothing like a little healthy competition right.  I doubt she will win this one although stranger things have happened, like being nominated to begin with.

Stefani is also nominated in Best Pop Vocal Album category for Born This Way along side Adele once again and Best Solo Performance for You and I.   More like Ugh and I.

Personally, I'm rooting for this song to win in the Best Pop Duo / Group Performance.  What a voice.  What a shame.

I'm so glad Stefani's rendition with Tony Bennett didn't make the cut.

Who do you think will win Album of the Year?

Another song I really love.  Denmark's  Oh Land's 'White Nights".  Enjoy!

Shit Lady Gaga Says

This video makes me want to punch her in the face so bad or put my foot through the computer. Stefani has THE MOST annoying speaking voice I've ever heard. It's so whiny, shaky and crackling and reminds me of a 12 year boy starting puberty.

Around 7:00, she can't stop talking about getting wasted.  Paging A.A., A.A., you're wanted at the front desk.

Anyway, if you can make it through the whole 12:45, (I had to keep pausing and coming back to it) it's a perfect showcase of how annoying, pretentious, obnoxious, arrogant and how this hack really is completely full of herself.

I removed the parody.  It sucks.  It's not funny.

Madonna v Lady Gaga: How the Queen of Pop Reclaimed Her Throne

Gaga's Born This Way Ball Tour Poster - Part II

When I first saw the BTW Ball Poster, it immediately reminded me of something but I couldn't pin point what.  Then just now, it hit me.  I grabbed this picture off Oh No They Didn't.

The clothing the men are wearing, the poses, reminded me so much of Duran Duran's 'Seven and the Ragged Tiger' album.

I'm not going to call it a copy because it's really not but it definitely draws some inspiration. Maybe it's just the 80's thing again.

While I'm at it, I've read some of your comments asking why she's touring so late after releasing Born This Way?

I say good!  It's a stupid mistake.  She's going on tour more than a year after it's release.  What kind of a business move is that?  She spent the whole year promoting that crappy album.  Wouldn't you go on tour within a couple of months of it's release when it's fresh in people's minds?  Even her fans are saying they want this era over and they prefer 'The Fame' Gaga more.  So now she's going to rehash this era all over again.  As if one spin in the toilet wasn't enough!  What's wrong with this chick?  Seriously.  I'm glad she made this lousy business move if it means she'll go away faster.

Also, I'm not sure what the whole Dracula's castle, Halloween theme has to do with being born this way and celebrating equality.  Have you seen her stage sketch, you know, the one she released the day after Madonna released hers?  Yes, I know most of you have.  Well, here it is again.

I'm not sure how those suckers with seats by the stairs on each side of the stage will feel when all they're going to see a huge freakin' wall!  And this whole "Monster Pit" nonsense......who wants to bet there will be at least one death in that thing half way through the tour?

Maybe it's the Kingdom for her fans.

Seriously Gaga, you're not mosh pit material.  It's not even cool to like you anymore.  Being a fan of yours is just about as cool as staning for Hanson. You're not bad ass and neither are your fans.

P.S. Jo Calderone is dumb.  Stop embarrassing yourself.

Here's my favourite song off Seven and the Ragged Tiger.

Whoops!!  Wrong clip!  Here's the right one.

Born This Way Ball Tour Poster

Is this not the most amateurish piece of shit you've ever seen?

On Twitter last night, Stefani tweets that she would be releasing her poster in the morning.

Oh lookie here, she got wasted again.  So she tweeted in an hour later.

I can't wait until she tweets "OH WTF, one more bump".
She must have been drinking too much wine when she designed that poster too!!!

Lady Gaga "I'd Never Name a Tour After My Album".  You were saying?

Yup....she designed the poster herself.

First Tick Heard on GaGa Fame Clock

Written by Casey Rae-Hunter from The Contrarian.

Baby sees the future, tells me it’s got nothing for us… Nostra… Nostradamus — sung to the tune of Lady GaGa’s “Paparazzi.”

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, aka Lady GaGa, hasn’t been in the public eye for very long, but given the hype, you could be excused for thinking that it’s been just shy of forever. Credit where due: it’s no small feat to direct the attention of today’s attention-deficient masses and sustain it for more than the length of a tweet. Yet it seems the grains in GaGa’s hourglass have finally begun falling, and we all know what that means: time is fleeting for the new Queen of Pop.
I’m not so bold as to call GaGa’s back-to-back appearances on “60 Minutes” and the Grammys a shark-jump, but it may be where her fame clock officially began ticking. For someone who claims dominion over the apparatus of fame itself, both events made a conspicuously feeble impression. Not among her fans — those already under her spell remain so. But if you are not a GaGa devotee (I believe she calls them “monsters”), you likely regarded Ms. Germanotta’s Old Media blitz as the definition of meh. Not even worth being annoyed/disturbed/fascinated/repelled by.

Probably not even worth a blog post.

In fact, the reason that I’m even bothering with this exercise is because I have an obsession with epoch-setting calendar events, however minor. So, I’m calling this one for the record: February 13, 2011 marks the official beginning of GaGa’s decline.

Since we’re here, let’s examine why. Admittedly, nobody under the age of 35 watches “60 Minutes,” so GaGa’s aimless interview with Anderson Cooper will have had a negligible impact on her core demographic. Actually, I’m willing to bet the venerable program was the true beneficiary, as GaGa’s most obsessive fans temporarily bolstered the number of viewers who tune in to witness Andy Rooney‘s burgeoning dementia. (Forgive me, Morley Safer, for I have sinned…)

On “60 Minutes,” GaGa came across like a distracted grad school gal sweating her final thesis. With regards to her peacockery and calculated weirdness, I believe this Lady doth protest too much. GaGa did everything she could to impress upon Cooper that she fully understands each symbol that informs her meticulously crafted persona. This is the wrong move for someone who trades in the techno-cryptic. We don’t need you to tell us that you know why we’re enraptured. It kind of ruins it.
GaGa keeps explaining that she’s a “student of fame.” Nice work if you can get it, but forgive those of us who have witnessed several historic superstar permutations for expecting a little more. It’s not that GaGa is drawing incorrect conclusions from her studies. It’s just that, unlike true alchemists of adoration, she adds no new ingredients to the stew. Everything GaGa does, says, or reflects is a pale reflection of her forbears’ more innovative expression.

Surely it is difficult to be original in a fractured culture saturated with corporate and brand symbols. But to be regarded as an artist of lasting stature, one at least has to try. GaGa’s schtick can be boiled down to Madonna and David Bowie, with a dash of Freddie Mercury and Elton John. Maybe some Cher, with her penchant for pantslessness and warbly singing. If only pastiche were a substitute for genius!

Back in Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust phase, he tapped into a similar longing for acceptance that animates GaGa’s fans. Bowie took the idea of alienation and turned it into an Alien Nation — a clan of disaffected youth who reveled in their estrangement by exaggerating it through gaudy makeup and “tacky things.” What Bowie did was hardly subtle, but at least he had the good sense not to fucking tell us what he was doing. He respected his audience more than that. In fact, he respected his audience so much that he dragged a portion of them kicking and screaming through his metamorphosis into the Thin White Duke. But that’s a tale for another time.

What’s GaGa’s next act? Does she even have one? Judging from her musical output, probably not.
Speaking of her music, it’s hardly worth mentioning at this point that her new single, “Born this Way” is a melodic and rhythmic clone of Madonna’s “Express Yourself.” Not that The Material Girl seems to care. The aging succubus will surely find a way to suck some extra lifeforce out of her sycophantic understudy.

GaGa’s performance at the 2011 Grammys was, despite the requisite costumery and dancers, surprisingly bereft of spectacle. My favorite part was the beginning, when she hatched out of some kind of space egg, a la Mork from Ork or Spinal Tap in “Rock ‘n’ Roll Creation.”

And here's Lady GaGa:

Many of us who can afford to eat more than once a day are any combination of bored, distracted or overwhelmed. We require escapism, and for some, GaGa delivers. Better still, she does so in a way that champions a vague sense of self-empowerment (Madonna) and commiseration with fellow outcasts (Bowie). But can that sustain a career? On some essential level, Madonna possesses the raw material of which lasting art is made (I can’t believe I just said that). Bowie, for his part, is an ace showman/manipulator. He’s also a fabulous musician who had to grow into that role. Yes, Bowie, too, struggled to transcend his influences — Velvet Underground, Dylan, Bolan, Iggy. But he eventually did so, and triumphantly.
Can GaGa do the same? Clock’s ticking.

This article was written back in February 2011 shortly after the Grammy Awards.  It's interesting how almost an entire year has passed since it was posted and the author really was psychic.  Nothing has improved in Stefani's career.  It's been one lump of coal after the other and each lump of coal was bigger than the first.

2011 was not a good year for her.  The momentum of 2010 peaked incredibly fast and blew up like a volcano in Iceland, spewing the ash of her career everywhere.  The veil has been lifted.  Putting Little Monsters aside, people are starting to see Stefani for the sham that she is.

I think people have become so over her that even food critics are writing horrible reviews of her parent's restaurant JUST BECAUSE it's Gaga.  I have an inkling the food wasn't all that terrible, mainly because the chef, Art Smith, was Oprah Winfrey's personal chef until 2007.  Something tells me she wouldn't hire someone who made crappy food.

P.S. Holy shit!!  I forgot about Mork and Mindy!

Lady Gaga & Taylor: Open Romance

Wow, she's such a bad ass.  It's probably because she wants to shag her little monsters during her next tour when she's not too busy crying in front of mirrors because she still feels like that loser kid in high school.

I think Taylor should drop off this bag of used clothing to Goodwill and be done with it.   His dignity should be worth more than a famous girlfriend worth $90 million.

Lady Gaga's new family NY restaurant has been slammed by a top food critic

Even her family is feeling the brunt of her over exposure.  Have any of you living in NYC been there?

Several of you emailed link to this story from various websites so I thank you all.

Madonna Half Time Performance

Ok, I'm putting it up only because of little monsters trolling the comments sections on YouTube and I've been asked by some of you.  She did a great job.  I enjoyed it very much.

To my critics, it's my blog and I do what I want.

Oh and check out "A Tribute to Hateful Little Monsters".

Lady Gaga's Biggest Lie

Some of you have been asking to see this.  I posted it on the blog a few weeks back but here it is again.  Lady Gaga, in all her pretentiousness and audacity.

Little Monster's Big Drama: " A Wardrobe Gag-function"

I Don't Know How

Scarlett Johanson as Marlene Dietrich
to make this any more clear.  To all the confused people that say "Madonna copied Marilyn Monroe, Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, etc, etc, etc", please understand that there is a HUGE difference between paying homage to a deceased Hollywood icon and ripping off music and style from a living singer who is still actively working as part of your package and brand.

Madonna may have done a few films but let's face it, she's no actor.  The Hollywood icons she played dress up in honour of were not recording artists.  They weren't icons she shamelessly borrowed from trying to claim as her own.  She did not mimic their speech, their acting techniques nor did they have any past pop songs for her to plagiarize.

Plenty of celebrities, in addition to Madonna, have dressed as or channeled Hollywood icons be it for an award show, photo spread or music video.  Madonna is not the first and she certainly won't be the last.  Here's pretty good list.

Gina Gershon as Sophia Loren
  • Lindsay Lohan (Marilyn Monroe)
  • Cate Blanchett (Veronica Lake)
  • Martha Stewart (Veronica Lake)
  • Scarlett Johanson (Marilyn Monroe, Marlene Dietrich)
  • Anna Nicole Smith (Marilyn Monroe)
  • Portia de Rossi (Marilyn Monroe)
  • Katie Couric (Marilyn Monroe)
  • Gwen Stefani (Marilyn Monroe)
  • Nicole Kidman (Marilyn Monroe)
  • Pamela Anderson (Marilyn Monroe)
  • Rihanna (Marilyn Monroe)
    Kate Winslet as Elizabeth Taylor
  • Taylor Swift (Marlene Dietrich)
  • Kathy Griffin (Bettie Page)
  • Dita Von Teese (Bettie Page)
  • Katy Perry (Bettie Page)
  • Kate Winslet (Elizabeth Taylor)
  • Megan Fox (Elizabeth Taylor)
  • Kristen Stewart (Elizabeth Taylor)
  • Winona Ryder (Elizabeth Taylor)
  • Calista Flockhart (Audrey Hepburn)
  • Gina Gershon (Sophia Loren)
  • Susan Sarandon (Bette Davis)
  • Christina Aguilera (Marilyn Monroe)
  • Jessica Biel (Dorian Leigh)
  • Amy Adams (Rita Hayworth)
Let's not forget the countless times these legends were channeled for a fashion ad campaign for a design house or on the runway.

Are they all copying? Of course not.  So many have tipped their hats to these lovely ladies because they are legend; icons; timeless; respected and admired. There is a fascination with Old Hollywood. It was a true glamorous and classy time with tough yet feminine broads, never trashy.  Real ladies.  Those days are long gone and some try to bring it back only if for a little while.

And yes, Lady Gaga has channeled Marilyn Monroe on at least two occasions.  She's not copying either.

Cate Blanchett as Veronica Lake

As long as Hollywood exists, these icons will always be seen as if stuck in a time capsule, possessing the bodies of others.

Amy Adams as Rita Hayworth

Lindsay Lohan as Marilyn Monroe

How are all the pictures above any different than this:

Madonna as Marilyn Monroe

Madonna as Marilyn Monroe

I thought so.  There is no difference because Madonna always made it beyond obvious that she was paying homage.  She never thought she was Marilyn or thought she could replace her.  She never tried to pretend to be "Marilyn like" as if Marilyn never existed in the first place.  She was simply a huge admirer among so many others.  Unlike Stefani, who, oh I don't know, ripped off Express Yourself then played stupid when when questioned about it.

I'm posting this again because of the constant Madonna copied Marilyn talk.  Who hasn't, if you want to call it copying, which it isn't.  If you want to call out someone for being a Marilyn copy cat, look toward Anna Nicole Smith.  Anna wanted to act, she mimicked Marilyn's look, speech, demeanor, everything.  If there was anyone who wanted to be Marilyn's reincarnation, it was her.
