Born This Way Continues To Plunge

LOS ANGELES — On a trip through London's Heathrow Airport earlier this week, (correction LA Times, that happened last year) Lady Gaga tumbled off the impossibly high heels she was wearing and took a nose dive onto the facility's linoleum floor. She quickly righted herself and continued on her way; her new album, however, isn't showing the same resilience.

Five weeks after posting the biggest first-week sales figure for any album in more than six years — spurred by a two-day sale during which Amazon.com sold the album for 99 cents — "Born This Way" has slipped to No. 8 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart on sales last week of just 49,000 copies — that's only slightly ahead of "Alpocalypse," the latest from novelty artist "Weird Al" Yankovic, with a single parodying Gaga.

Most in the record industry had expected "Born This Way" to show a steep drop on its second week of release, although perhaps not as steep as the 84 percent plunge it saw after the stellar first week. But the slowdown for "Born This Way" has continued to be more pronounced than many anticipated. Gaga spent just two weeks at No. 1 before Adele returned to the top of the chart.

"I can't remember that ever happening like this — selling so much and then going down to so little, so quickly," said Brad Sheldon, music buyer at the Amoeba Music store in Hollywood. "I had to look really hard to find it on our best-seller list. We're stuck with a lot of copies now."

Music industry analysts say there are probably multiple reasons for the swift decline of Gaga's album. Among the potential problems: Amazon.com's bargain-basement sale price devalued it in the minds of potential subsequent buyers; Gaga fans are more interested in singles than albums; her so-called "little monsters" are more likely to share or illegally download her music than other artists' fans are.

The full effect of Amazon's 99-cent "Born This Way" sale, a promotion for its new cloud service, has yet to be determined authoritatively. But it didn't endear her or her record company — even though the decision was Amazon's, which took a multimillion-dollar loss on the deal — to other merchants who found themselves stuck trying to sell downloads and physical CDs for much higher prices.

"We definitely weren't a fan of them doing that," Amoeba's Sheldon said. "It sort of devalues everything after that, and it raises the question of whether she's going to have to do that again on her next record."

Meanwhile, British soul singer Adele's "21," the album that "Born This Way" displaced at No. 1 upon selling 1,108,000 copies during its first week of release, sold more than double what Gaga's album did last week — more than 101,000 copies — keeping it at No. 3 behind new releases from R&B singer-songwriter Jill Scott and alt-rocker Bon Iver. Adele's album has sold 2.4 million copies since its release in February, making it the biggest-selling album of the year so far.

The Lady Gaga album's sales arc to date also is in striking contrast to Taylor Swift's "Speak Now," which last fall logged first-week sales of 1,047,000 upon release. By its fifth week, "Speak Now" had sold more than 2 million copies, compared with "Born This Way's" five-week sum of 1.5 million. (Lady Gaga's previous album, "The Fame Monster," has sold 4.2 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.) "Speak Now" yielded the No. 1 slot to new albums from Susan Boyle and Kanye West before returning to the top of the chart for another four weeks at the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011. It has sold more than 3.5 million copies in eight months.

One big difference: Swift's album came out at the height of the holiday sales season, when music sales are traditionally at their peak. But another factor may be more relevant: Swift and Adele have been embraced by middle-age and older listeners as well as the youth audience that typically determines who's on the pop charts.

Swift "also has the country fans who actually still believe in buying an album," said Keith Caulfield, associate director of charts for Billboard. "She appeals to consumers who still buy albums, and who still buy a number of them.

"It's the same with Adele — she's still being discovered by people who really want someone they consider to be a 'true artist,' someone who really resonates as honest and true, who has a wonderful voice that's appealing to older people and younger people, kind of like Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse."

Caulfield said that today, the anomaly isn't Gaga, but Adele and Swift, who buck the trend of ever decreasing shelf life for pop albums.
There's also the matter of hit singles to drive album sales. "Edge of Glory," the current single from "Born This Way," peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and has dropped to No. 6 this week. Without a major hit to sustain sales, album sales typically suffer.

But the story may not be over yet: Caulfield noted that fans of an artist such as Gaga frequently download a new single immediately, pushing it high on the chart out of the gate, but it can take weeks for radio to catch up and expose it to a broader swath of listeners.

Still, the overall effect of album sales is no longer what it once was.

"What's most important to Gaga is that fans are familiar with and excited by her new material," Billboard editorial director Bill Werde wrote recently. "That way she can make money leveraging those fans, be it through a partnership with a brand that wants to reach said fans, or concert ticket sales.

"It isn't inconceivable to think of a day soon when Gaga and other superstar acts will use radio and social networks and giveaways to create massive international hits — not defined by sales, but by the number of fans that are familiar with and excited by the music."

Lina Morgana

This story is old, I know, but my attention has been brought to a singer named Lina Morgana. I heard the name before through media and gossip websites but didn't know much about her. Lina is the artist who's mother accuses Lady Gaga of "borrowing" her daughters style to become famous. Lina and Gaga, then known as Stefani, collaborated together when music producer Rob Fusari brought them together. Lina was supposed to be the singer and Gaga brought on board to be the song writer. I say "supposed to be" because Lina Morgana tragically committed suicide. Her music really good and she has a beautiful voice and is a stunning girl. I feel she deserves recognition and that her music deserves to be heard.

Gaga Refutes Lawsuit Claim

Through her spokesperson, Gaga says "This misguided lawsuit is without merit and unfortunately takes attention away from the kind deeds of the fans around the world who are supporting the people of Japan."

"The entire $5 donation made with the purchase of each bracelet is going to support the disaster relief. No profit is being made on shipping costs. Sales tax charges were made in accordance with local legal requirements. "

"Lady Gaga has personally pledged her own funds to this cause and continues to support the victims of the disaster."
While that may be true, what did everyone think Gaga would do?  Admit it?  Of course not.  The only logical, rational thing for her to do is to deny it.   The truth is, right now, that it's her word against theirs.  I assume evidence is being gathered on both sides and there's an investigation going on.

Gaga dismissing the charges are just her words and it certainly does not mean she is innocent and that 1-800-LAW-FIRM is making this up.  At this stage of the game, she hasn't provided any proof that the lawsuit is in fact without merit. We don't know that yet.  We'll just have to wait and see what unfolds in the next few months.

Gaga Gets A Fan's Blog Kicked Off Of Tumblr

A Blogger on Tumblr named Dylan had his blogger user name and URL changed without his consent because Lady Xerox decided she wanted it.  The username was amenfashion.tumbler.com.  It was changed to amenfashion1.tumbler.com.

That was a really low thing to do Lady Gag Me.  Gag Me has started her own fashion blog.  A fashion blog.  So, if you're interested in looking stupid, crappy, clownish or want to rip off other artists' style or Muppet's for that matter, this is the page to visit.

Here's a screen shot of the email sent to Dylan and some more stupid looks from the human photocopying machine herself taken directly off her blog, another medium for Lady Xerox to revel in her narcissism and worship none other than herself.

Jana Sterbak - The Originator Of The Meat Dress

As it so happens, there is one less thing for Gaga to claim originality on and that's the famous meat dress.  Yes, you heard that right.  Gaga was not the first person to think that one up.

I'd like to introduce you to Jana Sterbek, a Canadian artist. Twenty four years ago in 1987, Jana created the controversial "Vanitas:  Flesh Dress For The Albino Anorexic" and chair made out of meat called "Chair Apollinaire".

Jana's collection is on display at Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris' modern art museum.

Gaga sheds a tear in Japan
Gaga is in a lot of deep scheiße with this charity scam allegations. To me, this whole wristband thing was another attempt to draw attention to herself. What a shocker.

So, Gaga makes these wristbands which cost money to make. Then puts it on her website so her fans have to buy one in order for proceeds to go to Japan while at the same time she advertises her brand.  It's disgusting and low.  Everything she does is so self serving. What a way to  make a tragedy about you.

A commenter on Perez Hilton's website has this to say and I could not have said it better myself:

instead of spending money to make bracelets that advertise YOURSELF & make you look like you "care" & are doing something "good" (& inflating the prices so you make back what it cost to produce) ditch the self advertising bracelets & just donate the money you used to MAKE them? Oh no, it's an opportunity to advertise yourself & make yourself look good. Leave your fans, who aren't rich in MILLIONS like you, to pay. you knew you could get away with it though, your "monsters" will gladly pay their last cent to make YOU look good & you know that. It's just too bad your charity scam is being brought to light now. Inflate prices & skim off the top to make a profit. Let your fans clean up the mess. pathetic.

Well said.

Lady Gaga Facing A 5 Million Dollar Lawsuit

A Detroit law firm, 1-800-LAW-FIRM filed a lawsuit in the circuit courts for allegedly scamming money from sales of her "We Pray For Japan" wristbands. The wristbands sold for $5.00 with a $3.99 shipping fee and a $0.60 cent tax.

The law firm is stating that Gaga kept part of the $5.00 and inflated shipping charges so that she could pocket more. She then counted even the money she allegedly pocketed in her donation figures, artificially inflating donation numbers, in order to make more money, the suit charged.

Another problem is that Gaga didn't properly disclose how much of that money was going to Japan. Attorneys Ari Kresch and Alyson Oliver of 1-800-LAW-FIRM have this to say:

“I’m suing Lady Gaga simply to hold her accountable for giving the money that she was raising for charity to the cause that she was trying to raise it for,” said Ari Kresch.

“But when you use your celebrity and your power as a musician to take money from people under false pretenses, that’s just wrong,” said Alyson Oliver.

“When we tried to communicate with the defendants in this lawsuit, all we got was, well, some of the money is being retained, but we don’t really know how much, is the essence of the response that we got,” Oliver said.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out.  I guess Gaga did want that $5.00 in your pocket after all.

See the Federal Class Action Lawsuit here!!!!

UPDATE:  There have been many complaints from customers on her website saying they did not receive their bracelets. Lady Gaga has sold her wristbands across the country which could mean that she violated consumer protection laws in every single state.  1-800-LAW-FIRM was alerted to the alleged scam because Gaga charged tax and charities are not subject to tax. So where did that tax money go?

Born This Way Sales Continue to Fall

By Peter Buchanan

Lady Gaga’s “Edge of Glory” single has finally made it into the Chicago Top 20, but there is more bad news for her on the national album charts. Hits Daily Double predicts a 35 percent plunge this week, which would put the “album of the decade” far behind Adele, Bad Meets Evil, and Adele.

Read the rest of the article here

Perez Hilton, Gaga friend and sycophant, posted an entry on his celebrity gossip site that Gaga states on her facebook page that Born This Way has sold almost 5 million copies worldwide.

I don't know how good Gaga's math skills are but if she gets out her calculator and adds up the numbers, it's more like 854,484.

In the fourth week of release for “Born this Way,” her latest release sold a mere 68,935 copies. That brings her to a total of 1,254,484–less, of course, the 440,000 copies that amazon gave away for 99 cents. If those are removed, the total is 854,484. That’s a lot of CDs, of course, no matter what the parameters. But with the amazon deal and no real second breakout single, “Born this Way” is quickly vanishing. This week it fell to number 4

Lady GaGa The Queen Of Narcissism Is Reprimanded By French Police

During her stop in Paris to promote her new album, Lady GaGa got into a lot of trouble with French police.  While staying at the Park Hyatt Hotel, GaGa worked up her little monsters by hanging out of her hotel room window and throwing hundreds rose petals to her fans below.

Crowds gathered at the hotel hoping to get a glimpse of the clown they call Mommy Monster.  GaGa was yelling down to her pathetic followers "I love you my little monsters!!!".  The crowd below got so frenzied that hotel management was forced to call the police.

Prior to calling the police, hotel management went to her room and asked her repeatedly to please come in.  GaGa, caught in the throes of attention being lavished on her by her zombies, did not listen.  She kept lapping it up like an attention starved puppy.  Sources say that she was like a woman possessed.

After having about all they can take, police were called.  Police gave her a swift telling off and slapped her with a fine.

This woman is the perfect case of narcissistic personality disorder and an attention glutton.  She is like a bottomless pit.  It's never enough for her.  Maybe she is sincere that she wants to be on the same level as her fans and appreciate them.  Maybe that's a small part of it.  Let's remember though that she is still fairly new to this fame game.  Is very intoxicating at this point.  This is her cocaine.  GaGa is walking a fine line and the line is very blurry.  One day, this monster she is creating of allowing her fans such easy access to her is going to come back and kick her in the ass.  There's a lot of psychos out there and no doubt there are a few that already have their eye on GaGa.  One day, her privacy, sanity and safety will be her top concern but by then it will be too late.  She's already set a precedent with her fans.

Edge of Glory Video Debuts During FOX TV Show

Last night Lady GaGa debuted her "Edge of Glory" video during Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance". After being used to GaGa's big performances and over the top music videos, Little Monsters all over the world were disappointed.

Edge of Glory seemed too lackluster, too normal. The video is GaGa dancing on a fire escape with a NYC city street scene which looks more like a Universal Studios back lot set. GaGa showcases her talent of stripper dancing that she learned while working as a stripper. All that was missing was the stripper pole.  Clarence Clemons appears in the video along side GaGa where he lends his remarkable saxophone skills to the song.

The monsters took to Twitter to lash out against Joseph Kahn, the man they thought was the director behind the music video. Joseph replied with "I did NOT direct Lady Gaga's 'Edge of Glory' video. Lady Gaga did -- I don't co-direct," Kahn quickly explained. "One canvas, one paintbrush. Respect the art. Very simple rule with me."  There wasn't much creativity to the video. While it was refreshing to see something not so "out there", it reminded me too much of a Sesame Street street scene for adults.

On the Edge of Glory youtube page, monsters and others are commenting in real time with a flame war of opinions on her video.

The song itself is very 80's.  A reproduced, reworked style similar to something you'd hear by Laura Branigan or Princess Stephanie of Monaco.  It's music I labeled as "cheesy" when I think back on it.

Are the masses ready for this style of music to be regurgitated?  I'm not too sure.  If you had to judge based on the music charts, all the songs off Born This Way are falling faster than anything off The Fame did.  The songs don't seem to have much staying power.

What do you think of the Edge of Glory video?

Roisin was the front woman for the band Moloko and you may remember their hit "Sing It Back". Roisin's been going solo for a little while now and she is very talented although not super mainstream the way GaGa is.  GaGa shows no shame lifting from Miss Murphy and don't think Roisin hasn't noticed.  She tweets:

"Lady Gaga is just a poor imitation of me.She has copied my style…my shoulder pads…Mind you she doesn't wear the bottom half!"—Róisin Murphy

Adele Reclaims Her Throne At The Top Of The Billboard 200

Just like the truth will always prevail, it looks like true talent has prevailed.  At least in this case it has.  Adele was temporarily knocked out of the number one spot on the Billboard 200 by Lady GaGa's "Born This Way" three weeks ago.  No doubt goosed by GaGa and Amazon's 0.99 cent deal on two separate days.  Today, she takes her spot, her rightfully earned spot, back.   "Born This Way" falls to No. 2 (100,000; down 42%),

This is Adele's tenth non-consecutive week at the number one spot.  While Adele climbs back up, GaGa will descend down the chart.  Just like her singles released after "Born This Way" have.

Justin Timberlake on Lady GaGa

Justin Timberlake touches on Lady GaGa during his interview with Playboy Magazine.

Timberlake says he admires Lady Gaga -- who joined him on the season finale of "Saturday Night Live" last month but says that he hopes she changes up her sound a bit on her next full-length.

"I'd love to see her come out with another record a couple of years from now that's completely different, maybe something Tori Amos could do," says Timberlake. "If I were Lady Gaga, I'd do whatever I wanted, which it looks like she's doing. She's just plain old good. But I don't know what the future holds for her. Her sound is so big. She's got the outfits and she shocks you, but you kind of wonder how an act that big stays around forever. That's why I'm curious to see her mix it up a little. I think she'll continue to make interesting music."

I don't know about you but to me that sounds like a very tactful and diplomatic way of saying he thinks her music off Born This Way is mediocre, which it is, and that her whole gimmick is out of control.  That too much exposure is a career killer.  It truly is.  It works the same way in the dating world.  The more mysterious you seem, the more it intrigues others.  The minute you start showing up everywhere, being so available, trying too hard, people lose interest.  It's no different in show business except that it's on a grander scale.

GaGa's over exposure is going to be her downfall.  She's leaving nothing to the imagination and she won't shut up.  She's coming across as arrogant and very full of herself.  She's a perfect walking case study of narcissism.  GaGa needs to cool it.

I really liked her at first.  I thought each song I heard off The Fame had something special about it and that there was something special about her.  She ruined that mystique she had.  That charm.  Aside from her die hard little monsters, a lot of people are just plain sick of her.

Did you mother ever tell you, GaGa, that less is more?  Mine did.  I didn't know it then but she was right.

Lady Xerox

I think some of the comparisons are grasping at straws but others are spot on and obvious. Especially the undeniable comparisons to Irish singer Roisin Murphy, who is amazing by the way. Her looks that GaGa copied are from 2005-2007 roughly. Roisin manages to look beautiful in her clothing while GaGa just looks ridiculous. Other painfully obvious comparisons are to Madonna and Grace Jones. I've never been much of a Grace Jones fan but I understand her feelings toward Lady Copy Cat. Here's some quotes from Grace Jones herself on GaGa.

On GaGa approaching Grace to collaborate together, “Yes, she did, but I said no,” Grace said. “I’d just prefer to work with someone who is more original and someone who is not copying me, actually.”

“Well, you know, I’ve seen some things she’s worn that I’ve worn, and that does kind of piss me off,” she told the newspaper (UK's Guardian Newspaper).

“I wouldn’t go to see her,” she said.

Gaga Fails in Sales During Her Second Week

Disastrous sales figures for Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga's Born This Way set another record this week, but not one that Gaga's team will be happy about. Sales of the album dropped off by 84% from its sizzling (but discount-inflated) opening week. That's the steepest drop-off in sales, expressed in a percentage basis, of any of the 17 albums that sold 1 million units in a week in Nielsen SoundScan history.
Gaga's album sold 174,000 copies this week, down from 1,108,000 last week, when sales were goosed by a two-day, 99-cent sale at Amazon.

The old record for the steepest drop-off following a million-unit week was held by NSYNC's 2001 album Celebrity. Sales dropped by 76% in the week following its 1,880,000 debut. Two recent albums were tied for second place in the steepest drop-off column. Sales of Lil Wayne's 2008 hit Tha Carter III and Taylor Swift's 2010 smash Speak Now both dropped off by 69% in the week following their debuts of 1,006,000 and 1,047,000, respectively.
A big drop-off was to be expected. But the fact that Gaga's drop-off was steeper than any of the other follow-ups to albums that had a million-unit week is troublesome. It seems obvious that the opening week tally for Born This Way was generated not only by hard-core fans, but also by casual fans who just didn't want to pass up such a deal. Last week's near giveaway worked in the short term (by giving Gaga the biggest one-week sales total since 2005), but it may have also served to devalue albums in general and Gaga's brand in particular.
Born This Way may not even log a third week at #1. Adele's 21, which is currently 53K copies behind Born This Way, could easily return to the top spot next week.
You may be wondering why *NSYNC's album experienced such a sharp drop-off in its second week. Celebrity was released 16 months after the boy band reached its peak with No Strings Attached. In the world of boy bands, 16 months is a lifetime.

If you want to know which three albums experienced the mildest drop-offs in the weeks following their million-plus weeks, here you go. Sales of 50 Cent's 2005 album The Massacre slipped by just 32% in the week following its 1,141,000 debut. Sales of Eminem's 2002 album The Eminem Show dropped by 39% in the week following its 1,322,000 debut. Sales of Garth Brooks' 1998 double-disk set Double Live slipped by 40% in the week following its 1,085,000 debut.
Born This Way fell off even more sharply in the digital realm. The album sold 38K digital copies this week, a 94% drop from its record-setting opening week total of 662K. Born This Way isn't even #1 on this week's Digital Albums chart. That honor goes instead to Death Cab for Cutie's Codes And Keys, which sold 59K digital copies (57% of its total).
Born This Way holds at #1 in the U.K. for the second week, but it drops from #1 to #7 in Japan. Gaga's previous full-length, The Fame, logged seven weeks at #1 in the U.K., but didn't reach #1 in Japan.

Adele's 21 rebounds from #3 to #2 on The Billboard 200. The album has ranked in the top three for each of its first 15 weeks. This is the best showing by any album since Alicia Keys' As I Am ranked in the top three for each of its first 15 weeks in 2007-2008. Both albums were powered by songs that had long runs at #1 on the Hot 100. Keys' "No One" logged five weeks on top. I expect Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" to hold the top spot for a fifth week when the chart is released later today.
21 tops the 2 million mark in sales this week. It's the first album to sell 2 million copies in 2011. This is later in the year than we saw the first 2 million-seller of 2010 (Lady Antebellum's Need You Now hit the 2 million mark in the week ending May 9), but it's ahead of the pace for 2009 (Michael Jackson's Number Ones reached the 2 million mark in the week ending Oct. 25.)
Eddie Vedder's Ukulele Songs debuts at #4. It's Vedder's first solo studio album. He reached #11 with the 2007 soundtrack to Into The Wild. All nine of Vedder's studio albums with Pearl Jam have made the top 10. The band's best-seller is its first album, Ten, which has sold 9,869,000 copies.

Vedder enters Top Music Videos at #1 with Water On The Road: Eddie Vedder Live. The video sold 11K copies, which allowed it to unseat AC/DC's Live At River Plate, which had topped the chart the last three weeks. Pearl Jam reached #1 on Top Music Videos with Touring Band 2000 (for five weeks in 2001) and Immagine In Cornice/Picture 1 (for one week in 2007).

Lil Wayne's "How To Love" vaults from #52 to #5 in its second week (its first full week) on Hot Digital Songs. The song entered the Hot 100 last week at #69. How high will it climb this week? Check back later today when we post Chart Watch: Songs.

The Utter Stupidity of Little Monsters

The Cheater's Desperate for Attention Look of the Day

Can you imagine being at that party and engaging in conversation with her dressed like that!  How awkward.
You make a huge effort to look at her eyes while talking to her but how can you help not looking
everywhere else?  Not because it looks good, but because she looks like a ridiculous mess.
You wouldn't even be able to absorb whatever she is saying because you're too focused on fighting back laughter that would
break the sound barrier.

Has She Finally Lost It??

Her hair that is.  GaGa arrived at the CFDA awards on Monday night where she was being honored as a fashion icon. *Cough*, sporting a turquoise wig.  Now we all know that GaGa has a lot of hair, thick hair, which as been bleached over and over.  All that bleaching is really damaging for your hair.  There's already been reports that GaGa's hair is falling out from over processing.  Has it finally happened? Is the Queen of Over Compensating practically bald under that FUG wig?  Just looking at that wig, I don't see how she would be able to fit all her hair underneath it.

Regardless, the fact that she's been honored as a fashion icon is a joke in and of itself.  A fashion icon is someone with a sense of style that can blaze a trail that is realistic for the general population. Someone that people can emulate for their own fashion sense.  Ralph Lauren would fall into this category for example.

A fashion icon?  GaGa is not that.  GaGa is a avant garde clown.  If the average person wore the crap she wears and went out in public, you'd get your ass kicked.  And she thought she was bullied.  I dare you! Go out and wear clothes like GaGa and see what happens.  The only reason she can get away with it is because she's a pop star, an annoyingly bad one albeit.

King Hits the Nail on the Head!!

Larry King, former long time host of Larry King Live, gave an interview to Bazaar magazine where he states:

"Lady GaGa's got a great gimmick going. She plays it well in an era attracted to gimmicks."

And there you have it folks.

Perez Hilton posted this on his blog.  I think his dick is so far up GaGa's ass that he didn't realize Larry King was cutting the Queen of Gimmickville down.

Eminem Puts GaGa in the Bulls Eye Position

WTF is this?  Can someone please get me the hell away from this bitch????!!!

Eminem's new song "A Kiss" leaked and this time he targets the monster herself, Lady Gag Me.  Eminem draws attention to GaGa's gender on his track with artist Royce Da 5'9".

"Tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office / She's still a male lady" Em raps.

We aren't sure exactly how Eminem feels about GaGa but since he's targeted other artists in the past such as Moby, Brittany and Christina in a not so friendly way, we can only assume that he's dissing the Queen of Trying Too Hard as well.
The picture says it all.  Just look at his face.

I'm going to make steel wool cool look trendy just so I can see if my stupid little monsters think it's cool too.

Born This Way Sales Expected to Drop Drastically Next Week

According to Nielsen Soundscan, Born This Way is expected to sell 200,000 copies in it's second week.  That would be for copies available at regular price opposed to .99 cents as in the first week of sales.  Sales from the first week were 1.1 million copies.  That is a drastic drop in sales and hardly something to call "strong".  This is also a really good indicator of how well Gaga would really have done had Born This Way been sold without the gimmicks and deals.  Furthermore, it goes on to show that her Little Flop Monsters were the ones responsible for the overinflated number because they bought multiple copies of the album that was practically free.

This projected drastic drop in sales in very fitting for Gaga.  At this point, her lack of originality, her over compensating, pathetic, clownish ways and fraudulent sales tricks are starting to become opaque.  People are seeing her for what she really is.  The charm is wearing off and a vast number are no longer enchanted with the Madonna Wanna Be.

This is not a Born This Way Nation, according to celebrity blogger and Gaga ass kisser, Perez Hilton. The second week of sales, if at all accurate to the projected number, is more like a Flop This Way Nation.

The Cheater's Desperate for Attention Look of the Day

Can someone please explain this one to me?  She is dressed like a jellyfish to promote jellyfish awareness?

Perez, you have to stop putting your face in my ass!!!

Gaga falls on iTunes!!

Gaga's Born This Way has already dropped to #3 on the iTunes album chart.  It follows "Codes and Keys" by Death Cab for Cutie and "Ukelele Songs" by Eddie Vedder.  How far will it drop next week?  I can't wait to find out.  Flop baby flop.

Gaga Insists that Money Means Nothing to Her

That's what Gaga claims in her interview with Stephen Fry for the Financial Times.  GaGa says "It's honestly true that money means nothing to me. The only big things I've purchased are my dad's heart valve and a Rolls Royce for my parents, for their anniversary. And that was only because my dad had a Lady Gaga license plate on our old car and it was making me crazy because he was getting followed everywhere, so I bought him a new car".

She says she prefers to put her money toward outlandish stage shows rather than spend it on frivolous things.  Well, Gaga, you have to keep earning money in order to put on your elaborate stage productions.  Manipulating your sales and taking the corporate sell out route was a good way to do it.   What's next?  The Lady GaGa doll?

Gaga goes on to say that she resents that her freakish fashion sense could imply that she is insincere about the issues she so cares about.   Furthermore, she says that it's anti-feminism to assume that a woman who seems so into her hair and shoes and clothes could be insincere.

She adds:  "I would say that's quite anti-feminism, isn't it, to say that a woman based on the way that she wears her hair and her shoes would not be sincere."

No Caca, it's because you're a pathetic, over the top, unoriginal, attention whore.  That's why people think you may be insincere.   It's hard to take someone seriously that wears horns and claims they're real.  That hatches herself out of an egg and wears a fake pregnant belly and on live national television has her dancers put her legs in stirrups and proceeded to give birth to a gooey, glittery slime at the end of her set.  Plus so many of your recent songs sound an awful lot like hit songs from previous artists.  Really?  Seriously?
