Gaga Refutes Lawsuit Claim

Through her spokesperson, Gaga says "This misguided lawsuit is without merit and unfortunately takes attention away from the kind deeds of the fans around the world who are supporting the people of Japan."

"The entire $5 donation made with the purchase of each bracelet is going to support the disaster relief. No profit is being made on shipping costs. Sales tax charges were made in accordance with local legal requirements. "

"Lady Gaga has personally pledged her own funds to this cause and continues to support the victims of the disaster."

While that may be true, what did everyone think Gaga would do?  Admit it?  Of course not.  The only logical, rational thing for her to do is to deny it.   The truth is, right now, that it's her word against theirs.  I assume evidence is being gathered on both sides and there's an investigation going on.

Gaga dismissing the charges are just her words and it certainly does not mean she is innocent and that 1-800-LAW-FIRM is making this up.  At this stage of the game, she hasn't provided any proof that the lawsuit is in fact without merit. We don't know that yet.  We'll just have to wait and see what unfolds in the next few months.
